Zubispeak’s of the World ( epilog)

When I started to write this blog several months ago, I had stated that I am on the quest to find the answers to the questions Who & Why ?

I found them and along a way I meet a few ” Zubispeaks” like me.

And that’s all I ever wanted.

I will keep the explanation for myself, but as always I’ll give you a hint…:

Yesterday I got the Economic stimulus payment check from the government in the mail.

It made me want to puke, it made me sick .

I will tell you people, what it is. First they steal the money from the producers like me and others entrepreneurs under the threat of taking our biz. away otherwise and then, when everything goes to hell, they want to bribe us to make it work.

Well, I tell you, I don’t want it ! It is probably partially money coming from some of you my fellow warriors out there, but I did not sent it back to them, they would waste it on some “needy” useless project.

I contributed it to one of the local Animals Shelters.

Because of the actions of us humans, animals are those who are needy, not the humans.

I am writing  final post of this blog. I had said everything I wanted to say……

This is end of this blog, but rest assured, Not the end of THE ZUBISPEAK

Now, I have a railroad to build and steel to pour, I may appear somewhere else one day…..

Doc Holiday Syndrome

  He walked the Sin City streets when dark falls on, and rain quit washing the muck , the slam, the trash, he needs a place.  Place to sit and wait.   

Wait on something he had no idea what it is and when it comes, he knew it will.

He knew it comes, he made it come, with everything he had ever done, at will he did, he knew.  

He knew, he did not know, he knew…

He found a quiet bar in shady corner at the end of the main street, lit by dirty bulb replaced thousand times for those who’s drunk the night before busted it and left , he knew.

 He went inside, he sat. He wait, don’t talk, don’t order anything, just wait. It is the strangest feeling he ever felt, he waits. 

The hassler, the explorer, the pioneer, the climber, the shooter, the gambler, the provider, the careless care taker, the knight, the valor, the action entrepreneur, the King, the servant…He waits.

Every  attemted contact by other guests or waitresses is a great  bother to him. Not theirs presence, just theirs disturbing, annoying questions “how can we help you?” makes none sense to him. He does not need help, never needed, they don’t know, he knows, he waits.

He is there to help.

He saw a women enter the bar with fear and curiosity. She standed by door and looked around..

He knew.

“Come home Doc”, she said, he’s hurt.

 ”Why”, he asked with  expression on his wrinkled face describing eating 2 months old piece of steak, carved of the bull, which died last last year by “Old Age”. 

” I need you home with me!” 

“You don’t, You go, I’ll wait”

He knows it’s coming.

The call will come, he’ll go.

He’ll walk the street, replace the bulbs, he’ll go…

” It’s time to press, to Do and Be,just go !”

He hears the voice, he smiles. 

He knows it is, he is,he’ll kill, he’ll give, he feels, he lives.

He smiles….

   

Just a Dream

I want to write about a “strange” dream I had last night ( or was it a months ago? Who knows), anyway, here it goes..

I seen myself walking cross a dessert, hungry, thirsty and tired to death. I sat down on the sand for a moment and went to deep comma like sleep. I felt a strange force picking me up, carrying me away and when I openned my eyes I was laying on the steps in front of beautiful monastery somewhere in the middle of a lost, imaginary world, build on the top of a hill, just driving the imagination wild about what’s on the other side..

I gathered strengh, walk up on the stairs and out of a natural curiosity, I knocked on the door of that amazing and at the same time a little scary, but beautiful building.

All the sudden a guy appeared, in a monk suit and he listened for a while the strange story of mine and my appearance there . Interesting, he said, obviously you were guided to this place for a reason, but before we take you in the Temle, I want to show you something…

Then he walked with me around the Temple and when I looked down the other side , I had seen a beautiful, thriving city with a different size of buildings, water fountains, lights, busy streets and I could almost see the happy faces of the citizens, full of satisfaction with them-selfs, sitting in front of their own stores and greeting every new customer in .

Then the monk said to me :

 ” All those people down there are our Temple students, they were just like You, before they got the chance to enter the city. We took them in the Temple to learn and participate on the knowledge, the power of the wisdom and the importance to give, in order to receive. Not everyone graduated however, but the one who did, drawn own blueprints for his building in the city and when he was ready to start building it, all the citizens helped him a little to get the store build.”

 Wow, I said, I want to start the trial and I rushed into the Temple doors…

“Wait a minute”, the monk said, “before we take you in, you need to always remember, that in order to Recieve, you have to be prepared to Give, so when you graduate and build your own little success in the City, Do Not Forget to give back to the Temple and it’s needs, because without the Temple, the City would stop growing, the well would dry out, the streets would get dirty and the lights would burn out !!”

I understood in my dream the point of it and I did not really wanted to wake up, but when I did, “Ohh my goodness, what a change!”

I am dressed up in a monk suit, sitting in front of a monastery on top of the stairs and I see people walking, some of them are carried by others, trying desperately to climb the hill to get to the other side.

And that could be the end of that story, well, maybe not….

When you make it to the stairs, gather the courage and knock on the door, I will walk out and listen to you and your journey, and then we’ll see, if I can get you in, because without going through the Temple, there is a huge possibility, that however you will see the city,  you will never be able to live in it.

P.S. It was a wonderful dream, I can’t wait to go to sleep tonight, when I wake up tomorrow, who knows what kind of suit I am going to wear and maybe I even catch myself in front of mirror shaving my head..

We will see…… 

 

Back from The Jungle

That cute Orangutan below is actually me , balancing on one leg , walking the very fine line on the border between common sense and idiocy. In the very beginning of my blog , I said , that I am on the journey to find some answers to questions accumulated during those years I live life of an entrepreneur…

My newest trip was to explore the world of a small business financing . If you read my post “Gunfight in O.K. Corral , you know , that I don’t suggest to approach Venture investors until your business is ready to defend the agressive approach from the VC world . If you need venture capital for surviving , then you are already dead , you just don’t know it yet .

What’s even more important to know about the private investors world now is , that if your business idea , however making sense from the profit point of view , does not have “Web 2.0″ in its DNA , you can save yourself the time and forget about VC’S at all.  Much smarter way to obtain capital for a start up is to prepare yourself and your new business for Bank financing.

If you use your head and think , there is a way , how to obtain a bank financing even for internet start up. The last thing I really knew how to do , is mowing peoples yards for living and even I own an Internet Start up now!! Yep , the world is going “mad” , it is time to take an advantage of it..

The journey through the jungle full of banks offering business banking and actually providing mostly none was so exciting and full of interesting findings, that it will take me a while to digest all the experiences . Of course as is my nature, I jumped on the “fast” train and went through the info with such intensity, that my head still hurts now.

A while ago , I read a quote ” Men plans , God laughs..”

Well , I had planned , joined  www.theXBanker.com , read a lot of very useful and valuable topics written by people associated with The Xbanker and its www.businesscreditsuccess.com , let them help me to secure successfuly the funds necessary to run and expand my business ,  then went again on a ”solo” mission , just to find out , what’s out there..Let me tell you my friends , if you are not a “lunatic explorer” by nature like I am, I suggest, you let the professional in this field to do the job . And when you want a results , you better find those, who charge for their service , because cheap , will get you exactly just that , a “cheap” results.

In my previous posts I hinted a situation that I experienced with “WellFare bank” ,the final info about it is, that I fixed everything they said is preventing me from getting the funds , including removal all the negative stuff on my biz. credit posted and reported by some idiot about a person not associated with me whatsoever and what’s worse , person dead for more , than 3 years…

I faxed all the improvements to them and never heard from them back . I guess , those guys ended up , where all the losers do . On the government wellfare payroll. But every experience is good for something and now I know , that getting your reports straight , personal and business , is a journey for itself and you better walk it before you start applying for bank financing , otherwise , you end up with bunch of inquiries on you credit and a huge frustration on your mind…

However , I had not only planned , but also executed and beside the funds secured by XBanker professionals, I got some funding on my own, so actually even I am not a God in any means, I laugh, mostly because I had find a couple answers pretty serious , but still worth laughing.

The first : Don’t look for  logic in places , where is none..

The second : Don’t try to talk a common sense to the people , who has none…

And that’s the two “jewels” I am brinking back from the journey through “The Jungle..”

Being an Entrepreneur & Father

There is one thing which makes me feel like The most fortunate man in the Universe and it is , that however I had dedicated my life to the Entrepreneurial lifestyle , that’s how I like to live , somehow I had managed to build so strong bond between me and my 5 years old son , that he not only love me like an other kids love their father , but he actually really enjoy to be with me even when I can’t pay full attention to him …..It is probably because everysince he was a baby , I had took him with me everywhere I went..

To put it in short , when you ask him where he wants to be , in the Arcade playing or with daddy in the office , there is one answer for sure…..

I can talk about being a dad , but you better ask my son.  On the other hand , I am not a superman , so don’t ask me how to be successful entrepreneur and a good husband at the same time .

I really don’t know the answer for that…..

Now , I am not a Hussita and I hate any kind of violence , my weapons always were my voice and the words , I had spoken against communism in my “old” country at the times , when you could go to jail just for reading the wrong book . I got out of the politics a long time ago and went to live here in America , the only country , where if you really want and you are determined enough , you can still achieve your dream . That’s what I had been doing , achieving  dreams , a lot of them , against all the odds and everytime I hit an obstacle or challenge , I thought I must be doing something wrong . Yeah , I had made mistakes on the way , everybody makes some and all you can do is to learn from them , but lately , as more business I do , more dealings with all kinds of institutions , I am beginning to see , what’s really wrong…..

This time , I don’t think it is the government, abusing power, as much as is the danger of Stupidity.  In society , where one single wrong or fabricated information punched in a computer system by some stupid , useless , pencil & button pushing moron and idiot , can literally destroy peoples dreams , I would like to come out of my “shell” and start exposing that stuff not only for myself , but also for all those small business owners , “little old ladies” even naive idealists , who could very well be the “victims” of this and don’t have the courage , means , or just the “stubborness” to fight back .

When somebody either unwillingly , by mistake , or worse , intentionally post a wrong info on your business credit , he literally has the power to destroy your future . Yes , we , the entrepreneurs know , that we need to monitor our credit , but there is not only one  bureau  to monitor and even if we do ”catch” some mistake , it takes time to fight to remove it , and time is the number one valuable asset in an entrepreneurs’ life.

There is a custom , that when you criticize , you should also have a solution to offer . Maybe I do. Let’s make the politics , the legislators do their job and come up with a Bill ( Law) on behalf of the millions small business owners and make the “reporters” not only able to report , but also be criminally responsible for any damage , they cause by reporting the “wrong” info . Let’s make the business credit bureaus be responsible for collecting wrong info and not double checking that stuff . Last time I checked , a person in America is supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty . In many cases , a persons small business is all what he lives for , his dream .

I had made many of my dreams come true during my life here , I could be just as happy ,  sitting at home and watching my 5 years old son play with his dog , but there are a lot of those , who are just making the first shot for their dream , so let’s take the challenge , make a difference and maybe help , just a little bit to those , who are feeling discouraged , hopeless or frustrated after going through similar situations . My private “war” is not private anymore , right now I am waiting for a report on my company from yet another credit agency , because those idiots in “WellFare Bank” could not find any reasonable reason for not approving my line and came up with some fabricated “shit” . This time , I will not only dispute it , I will take as long as it takes , get to the bottom of this and make sure , that whoever is responsible for that , it will be the last “heroic” deed he acomplished in his misserable career .    

Words hopeless , discouraged & frustrated , somehow does not exists in my dictionary , throwing “shit” in a form of incorrect info on peoples’ credit and think you guys can get away with it , is not only wrong , but really, really.. Stupid .

I am a very tolerant person with a little “twist” :  I have Zero Tolerance for Stupidity!!!

Maybe I am still being a Fool , but when I see wrongdoing , I just can’t shut up……We’ll see ..  

You gotta Love your Customer

I had just cameback from a ride across the town , because 16 years old young lady , whose father had purchased a vehicle for her from us this morning called my cellphone at 8 Pm tonight , that she is parked on the other side of  the city and she had locked her car keys inside the car . With a naive innocence in her voice , just like a teenagers can be , she asked me , if I would be so kind and drive there to unlock the car with our dealer spare key . I was fixing to eat my first meal today , but who cares about a food , when you got a chance to make one of your customers happy . I started my car and got on the road , because one of the secrets to be a successful entrepreneur is to love what you do , and if your business is consumer related , you gotta love yours customers . I love mine , I deal with people , who had a lot of “hard” luck in theirs lives and they are a wonderful folks . I don’t deal with rich snobs , who thinks , their “shit” does not stinks .

You gotta understand the customer , when they walk in your store and starts “bitching” about some silly stuff , you just need to let them talk and listen , because maybe he had an argument with his wife last night , or maybe just have a minor hangover from a previous party , as long as you dealing with people , rest assured , there are always going to be issues . Well , we all got some and I understand almost everyone of them , for simple reason , during my life , I had been probably in most situations , what makes folks today feeling misserable , including being homeless , for while . People going throught a hard time appreciate kindness , unlike the snobs , who mistakenly take kindness as a sign of weakness .

We sell cheap , old , good running cars , not pretty , but dependable . Why  don’t I have a Ferrari dealership ? I doubt , that I would have so many chances there , to make the people genuinely happy , and my life would lose the purpose .

Tonight , I will sleep peacefuly , because I had made one person happy , I will take the liberty and ask you here : “Did you do the same??”

P.S. I don’t really have to do all of this myself anymore , got other people involved in the business to do all that service , but everyonce in a while , I like to do it personally , just to feel the closeness with people I love…..my Customers !! 

Be Aware of……Part Two

I had promised a real story in my previous article , so I am delivering it to you right now . However , when I thought about  it overnight , it really does not matter , which big bank it is related to , I am pretty sure , that morons are presented in every institution there is . So if you get “lucky” and you disturb them , let’s say during their lunch hour , you may experience the same scenario in any bank you walk into. Plus I had decided to “challenge” yours imagination a little bit and I am sure , that if you were able to understand any of my past posts , you will have no problem to figure out , what bank I am actually writing about .

For a story purpose I had come up with a name : WELLFARE & CO BANK

Because of my excellent credit , I had been “bombarded” with a phone calls from that bank personal lending division in Vegas , giving me all kinds of a great deals , personal credit cards and the latest move of those geniouses made me laugh so hard , that if it would not be actually really serious mess up , I would be laughing still now. I had been informed , that I am approved for a car loan in amount of $ 7,000.00 . What a morons , one of my many successful ventures is a Car dealership , I have at anytime at least 10 cars to chose from , all paid in full . That’s the funny part . What’s not so funny , they actually hit my personal credit with a hard inquiry .

After 7 years in business as an incorporation and many private ventures in my sleewe and currently over $ 600,000.00  annual gross sales , I came up with an idea , how to use the new relationship with “WellFare” for my business and actually applied for a real business funds , because fuel your company growth with yours personal credit cards is not a good Idea, believe me . So I applied for business line of credit with them. Wow , what a professional approach . Nobody called me back in over a week , finally I chased down one “agent” saying , he does not know the reasons , why it is not done already .

The times of me playing a Fool , or Idiot and kiss somebody’s butt , just to get $ 500.00 credit card are long gone , it’s time to move to the next level , so I said I need to know the answers now and stop wasting my valuable time .  Well , at 8:30 PM the same day , a guy called me at home , saying , that the underwriters can not have it done because there is a judgement placed on my company . Now you see , how important it is to stay on top of yours credits , as I wrote in previous article . The funny thing about it is , that a week ago , Bank of America and Regions Bank did not find anything like that and approved me for unsecured credit , right over the phone . However my night was messed up then , so I drove back to my office  in the middle of the night , ordered and paid for a brand new credit report on my company , made sure it is still smooth like a “baby butt” , faxed that report to them and asked for the answers .

Nobody called me the whole next day , and when I finally get the guy on the phone late on the evening , he said , he got the faxes , but does not know anything yet .

My point as of right now is not If there is any report like that , flying somewhere in the universe or not . Us , entrepreneurs , doing a real business and not just running a “barber shop , or a hot dog stand up ” have many experiences with a “shit” floating around and after a couple years , nothing can surprise us at all . My point is , that WellFare bank challenged me to prove my innocence and when I asked them , what I am supposed to be defending my-self against , they failed to provide that information .

Let me tell you WellFare underwriters , you may know , how to scam people to take your car loans , you may even know , how to loan money to the losers , whose only asset is a “piece of dirt” and then take it as a collateral , but in my book , you have no idea about a business at all . One question come to my mind right now . To be sure , nobody in that department is such an idiot and did not made this up , just because my last name does not sound “Kosher” . That could be very logic explanation , right ?

I had proved my innocence , now it is your turn.  How does that feels ?????

Be Aware of a Morons , Idiots and other Lazy Ignorants……Part One

…and rest asured , there are plenty of them out there , if you walk yours journey long enough , sooner or later you will “crash” with them .

When my friends created this blog for me , so I can use my vivid imagination and write stuff and stories in expressions , I really intented to do just so . However , entrepreneur life is ever changing , same as the situations surrounding it and I want to write a story and not use imagination at all , just a facts and experience . As for the picture above , I must admit . I could not find a picture of an idiot , or moron , so  funny looking pirate will have to do the trick. On a second thought , that’s actualy what they are , a Pirates , robbing you of your most valuable asset you got . The TIME .

Need to say first , that everysince I had discovered the hidden “tricks” , how to finance a business the smart way , I am staying on top of my credit reports on daily basis - personal and business as well . Let me tell you , that especialy for business reporting , there are no safeguards for you as the owner of the business against wrong , or even completely fabricated negative info , manytimes just because some of the institutions don’t really report towards the FEIN number or direct name of yours company , some of the buerocrats are so lazy , that they just automatically report towards yours business adress , so for example , if you have a new location and the previous tenat went bancrupt or other “shity” stuff , don’t be surprised , that on your business report , some of the negative info appears . Another reason , for investing a couple hundred dollars annualy and have signed up for the credit alerts not only for personal , but also for business credit . I had experieced this situation , but unlike the D & B is encouraging you to dispute the info with all the reporters , I went on a different road , I had disputed the info straight with D & B and told them , if they not take it off right away , I will start a legal action directed  against D & B as the false reports collecting and publishing agency . My business credit is excellent right now and the change happened overnight . It is not ours , the business owners responsibility to prove our “innocence” and what’s most important , we the entrepreneurs don’t have the time to spend whole day on the phone talking to all kinds of “morons & pencil pushing SOB’s” , asking them , what is theirs problem . I don’t know about you , but surely I don’t.

The importance of being on top of yours business info is even bigger now in 21st century , when the actual Business Banker is replaced by some unprofessional , lazy , stupid and knowing nothing about a business person behind a computer , just punching the data to the system and not concerning about yours biz. operations at all. In this case , very easily , you can end up being held a “hostage” to some teenager from a high school , just graduated and hired by a financial institution to do the Job as a Business loan officer . Don’t be surprised , if you’ll be asked to prove your innocence and when you request the info , you should be defending your-self against , they will not provide it to you . Mostly , because , there is none , as in my case , and any excuse is probably good enough for some idiots , to not  deal with your aplication , if you are brave enough or “crazy” enough and tell them after a week of wasting yours time , that you would like to hear some answers .
In my next post , the Part Two , I will describe actual situation , happened to me currently , it is written already , I am just not sure yet , If I want to put the hundreds of honest and hard working professionals to the same “bucked” with a few Morons in underwriting department of that perticular financial institution and openly state the name of that firm .

Let me do some thinking , I am sure , I will come up with some solution and in a mean while , Stay Tuned……. 

Basic Instinct

I would like to take a moment here and write a little bit about  one thing , what separates a successful entrepreneurs from those , who fail . Don’t get me wrong , I am not considering a person , whose one , or even more ventures did not turn to be , what he expected a failure , I am talking about those , however skilled and professional they seem to be as an individuals , somehow , even if they do exactly everything by the “business” book and follow all the guidances , given by all kinds of smart “asses”, they fail right after the very first big crissis . And rest assured , no matter how great is yours idea , no matter how well you have everything planned , crissis will come , sooner , or later . For every entrepreneur , the sooner it comes , the better for him .

Why is the rate of failure of small business ventures almost 95%? I look for the answer somewhere else , than to libraries full of books about how to run & operate small business . You can go there your-self , read every single book about business ever written , and still , the odds , you ‘ll fail at the end , are extremelly high.

I am going to look for the answers to the place , where we the humans forget to look a long time ago . To the animal Kingdom. I named the topic the Basic Instinct and while most of us , spoiled humans thinks of the basic instinct to be “Mating” , if you want to succeed with your start up venture , I suggest you put yourself in animal’s shoes and your basic insting will be “survival & selfdefense” . I would evolve the self defense word even more and state , that the best selfdefense is well planned and executed attack !

The best survivors have instinct to feel the “danger” coming well in advance and when everybody around are celebrating , how well is everything going , at some point , some of us , start to be “nerves” and prepare grounds for total “crush”.

Why ? Because the true leaders , just like the “head” wolves , knows , that there is no such a thing like neverending “sunshine” and when the storm comes , it is good to have the shelters ready , have a place to put all the surprised and all the sudden panicking “crowd” , so you can focus on what you had been “made” for . Take the charge , ride the storm out , lead the “sinking” ship to the port , then call the personnel back on the “board” , let them do the maintennance  and get that ship back on the open waters .

I could start writing and suggesting programs , seminars , or schools , where you can learn this perticular “skill” , but I am afraid , I will disappoint you . There is none . You can not learn it , and all the people running the “scams” named Leadership coaching , are mistaking . That’s just a soft word misleading , because my friends , the only way to get the “animal” basic instinct is , You have got to be BORN with it , and if you suddenly discover , you have it , be happy , evolve it and treat it like a gift , because that’s what it is a GIFT.
